Hi, I’m Jen, the founder and interior designer behind The Glam Peacock Design Studio, a residential interior design studio creating unique, personal and beautifully considered homes across the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Northern NSW.

I believe your home should feel like an extension of you. Not a replica of the latest trend or something straight out of a showroom, but a space that reflects your personality, tells your story and feels completely natural to live in. When it comes to designing your home, you are the most important piece of the puzzle.

One of the biggest challenges I see clients face is knowing how to translate what they love into a cohesive interior. You may know how you want your home to feel, but choosing the colours, finishes, furniture, lighting and the correct layout to bring it all together, can quickly become overwhelming, and that’s where I come in.

As an interior designer, I help you uncover what represents you and translate it into a home that feels inviting, nurturing and full of character. Together, we create a space that not only looks beautiful but also functions effortlessly for the way you and your family actually live. My approach to residential interior design is highly personal. I take the time to understand you, your lifestyle and the way you want to feel in your home before we begin making design decisions.

Before establishing The Glam Peacock Design Studio, I spent 20 years working as an Emergency Nurse. Nursing taught me how important it is to listen, understand what someone needs and calmly guide them through situations that can sometimes feel uncertain or overwhelming.

As a naturally creative person, I eventually found myself searching for another way to combine that connection with people with my love of colour, pattern, texture and beautiful spaces. While designing a home is very different from working in an emergency department, I bring many of the same qualities to my clients today — listening carefully, solving problems, offering reassurance and providing clear guidance throughout the process.

My role is to make designing or renovating your home feel exciting rather than overwhelming. Beautiful interiors matter, but I believe the best homes are about much more than how they photograph. I want to create a home where you can kick off your shoes at the end of the day and immediately relax.
